Course Structure, Introduction, Progress

Xiang YangIt is a badminton club that introduces different teaching techniques according to the age and different badminton levels of the students, and introduces the "Badminton Skills Progress Chart", so that the students can understand their own badminton skill levels and what badminton skills they will be learning as the learning objectives. Our club adopts a systematic approach to teaching, and students will be assessed at each skill level to ensure that they are capable of training at the next skill level.

In addition, the badminton team preparatory training course: co-ordinated and coached by a number of experienced senior coaches from Xiang Yang, the training class focuses on teaching ball control skills and specialized physical training, we will teach through the competition format, mainly focusing on the use of tactical awareness, adaptability, emotional control and psychological quality of the students in the game, so as to improve the level of the trainees, to cultivate their interest in badminton, so that they can play the level they deserve to achieve excellent results in the game. In order to improve the students' level, cultivate their interest in badminton, and enable them to play at the appropriate level and achieve excellent results in the competitions.

3 children's class 10 - 12 years old Suitable for students with basic skills and competition techniques.
Improvement and reinforcement training after mastering the basic skills, teaching advanced badminton techniques, and improving students' competition ability, which includes technique, physical fitness, psychology and on-field performance.

4 Youth Classes 13 - 16 years old Suitable for students who have basic skills in singles and doubles.
After mastering the basic techniques, we will improve and strengthen the training, teach advanced badminton techniques and strengthen the use of competition tactics, improve the psychological quality, supplemented by physical training, so as to improve the students' skills and personal abilities to meet the requirements of the competition.

5 Technology Improvement Class No age The class focuses on improving ball handling skills and specialized fitness training.
It is taught through a competition format, which focuses on the use of tactical awareness, adaptability, emotional control and psychological quality of the participants in the competition, so that they can perform at the required level and achieve outstanding results in the competition.
Successful candidates will be recommended to sit for the Badminton Association of Hong Kong Chapter Examinations at all levels.
6 Badminton Team Preparatory Class No age Enhance the use of competition tactics, improve the mental quality, supplemented by physical training, so as to improve the technical and personal ability of the students to meet the requirements of the competition.
Cadets who represent the Club to participate in territory-wide or inter-district competitions.

9 Elderly Class Over 65 years old The design of the elderly class has fully taken into account the physical characteristics and needs of the silver-haired people, with health promotion and interest cultivation as the core. Through low-intensity and high-fun training contents, the class helps the elderly to enhance their physical functions, strengthen social interaction and enjoy the fun of badminton sports.

Elderly Class
(aged 65 or above)
The course is mainly targeted at silver-haired people aged 65 or above, aiming to enhance their physical health, coordination and social mobility through badminton. The courses are designed to be low intensity and high fun, avoiding overloading, and at the same time taking into account both technical learning and sports enjoyment. Elderly classes are not competition-oriented, but rather focus on health promotion and interest cultivation, and are suitable for those who love badminton and want to stay active through sports. Classes may include basic gripping, footwork, light hitting drills, and simple sparring exercises. Considering the physical condition of the elderly, the course will emphasize on safety and avoid high-intensity or high-risk movements. Special Features Low-intensity training: The main focus is on light exercise to avoid excessive stress on joints and muscles. Social Interaction: Promote communication among elders through group activities to enhance mental health. Fun: Gamification elements are incorporated to allow the elderly to learn and exercise in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The instructor will adopt a patient and meticulous teaching method, focusing on individualized instruction and adjusting the training content according to the physical condition of each elderly. Courses may be conducted in small groups to ensure that each participant receives adequate attention. Role of Instructor**: The instructor is not only a technical instructor, but also a health advisor, who should have the skills to communicate with the elderly and be able to recognize the physical condition of the trainees in time to ensure the safety of the training.
